Doctor of the University of Buenos Aires, Summa Cum Laude (outstanding thesis, 1992). Associate Professor of Commercial Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.

Associate Professor (2009), appointed by the Superior Council of the University of Buenos Aires, and unanimously proposed by the Directing Council of its Faculty of Law.

Visiting Professor and Fellow of the London Institute of International Banking, Finance and Development Law, University of London. Honorary Member of the Brazilian Institute of Banking Law, São Paulo, Federative Republic of Brazil. External evaluator, London School of Economics and Political Science, London. Former Judicial Affairs Manager Central Bank of Argentina.

Author of more than one hundred papers published in specialized magazines, in the country and abroad; and fourteen books, several of them under his direction or in co-authorship. Award for scientific and technological production granted by the University of Buenos Aires (1995).
